Amanda Bynes has reportedly checked out of rehab where she had been staying since August. She was forcibly hospitalized in July after starting a fire in a residential driveway, and was kept in the psychiatric ward of the UCLA Medical Center. She was later transferred to a rehab facility in Malibu.

“Amanda and her entire family would like to thank everyone who’s contacted them with good thoughts and wishes for Amanda’s recovery,” says a statement from her mother’s lawyer Tamar Arminak. “Amanda has completed her inpatient rehabilitation and she’s feeling better every day.”

The statement also goes on to talk about Bynes’ future endeavors – possibly starting her own fashion line. “She’s now looking at various colleges with the intention of majoring in fashion design,” the statement continued. “She’s mentioned before she’s interested in creating a clothing line.”

Although Bynes is officially out of rehab, the statement assures People that she will continue to be involved in outpatient therapy. “Despite the fact Amanda is no longer in a facility, her outpatient treatment is continuing. She’s very happy to reestablish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared.”

The 27-year-old remains under a conservatorship that is held by her parents. The conservatorship keeps them in control of Bynes’ care and estate until she fully recovers.
