  • Amanda Bynes is presently confined to a mental facility in Pasadena, and TMZ is reporting that she hates her parents, and blames them for having her committed.

The publication reports that her parents worked in conjunction with Sam Lufti–Britney Spears’ former manager–to lure her back to L.A. from New York City.

“Lutfi convinced her to take a car service to what she believed was a Pasadena law office, where she would meet with a lawyer about suing her parents for abuse. The building was actually a mental facility. When she walked in the front door, she was restrained and involuntarily committed,” they say.

Despite Amanda Bynes’ anger over being committed, others believe Lufti–in conjunction with her parents–did the right thing.

Sources tell TMZ that Amanda Bynes feels ‘utterly betrayed’ and that her relationship with her parents is ‘destroyed forever.’

Fox News reports that upon her arrival at LAX, Amanda Bynes told photographers that she wanted to be “like Marilyn Monroe” and that she couldn’t wait for her father to be “dead in his grave.”

RadarOnline says Bynes is stuck in the mental health facility in Pasadena, as her initial hold has been extended. In fact, a source tells them she could now be there for as long as two weeks.

“Amanda’s parents are hopeful that she will remain at Las Encinas for the next fourteen days,” the source said. “She would continue to pose a significant danger to herself and others if released.”

In the meantime Amanda Bynes’ parents are once again getting the necessary legal paperwork prepared to petition for conservatorship of their daughter. For the moment, however, they are simply happy she is safe.
