Alyson Hannigan, “Buffy” alum and star of the enormously popular show “How I Met Your Mother”, welcomed daughter Keeva into the world on May 23rd, but just announced the birth on Tuesday. She also tweeted a photo of the baby girl’s sweet little hand via Instagram with the caption “Love”.
Hannigan is already mom to 3-year old Satyana with hubby Alexis Denisof; the two met on the set of “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” and married in 2003. They now currently both appear on “How I Met Your Mother”. Hannigan, who has been acting since she was 12, has said that motherhood filled a void in her she didn’t even know was there.
“(Being a mother) has changed me in every way because my life is so much greater,” she said in 2010. “It filled a void I never knew was there — it’s the most amazing experience of my life. I just feel so blessed to get to be on this journey, to be a mommy. [Satyana] is just the greatest baby.”
Twitter users seem happy for the actress, but there’s more than a little curiosity about the name she chose for the baby:
