Alexis Arquette Slams Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith’s Oscars Boycott

  • Alexis Arquette recently spoke out via social media, slamming both Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith for their call to boycott the Oscars.

In a Facebook post that has since been deleted, Arquette called Will and Jada “gay,” and said Will Smith paid off his first wife to remain mum after she allegedly walked in on him having sex with a man.

Is it any wonder the post has been taken down? Will Smith’s ex, Sheree Fletcher, denies the allegations.

Alexis Arquette is a transgender woman who transitioned from a man in the early 2000s. Born Robert Arquette, Alexis Arquette is related to all the famous Arquettes, including David Arquette (Courteney Cox’s ex-husband), Rosanna Arquette, and Patricia Arquette, who stars in CSI: Cyber. Patricia Arquette voiced her support for Bruce Jenner when he came out as transgender, in part because of watching what Alexis underwent both before and during her transition.

Not unlike her famous family, Alexis Arquette is an actress who has played roles in The Wedding Singer, Xena: Princess Warrior, and Last Exit to Brooklyn. Her transition was the subject of a documentary called Alexis Arquette: She’s My Brother. She also starred in the final season of VH1’s The Surreal Life, which ended in 2006.

So far neither Will Smith nor Jada Pinkett Smith has responded to the slam Alexis Arquette posted on Facebook about their call to boycott the Academy Awards.

It’s likely they never saw the post, but they surely know about it. Even though the post was deleted, social media is buzzing about Arquette’s allegations.
