90's Rock Icon Alanis Morissette and her husband, Mario Treadway, are being sued by a former nanny, Bianca Cambiero, for $130,000. Reports say $30,000 is for back overtime pay and $100,000 for "emotional stress".

Radar Online reports that the lawsuit claims that 39-year-old Grammy winner Morissette and her rapper husband Mario "Souleye" Treadway used to lock Cambeiro in a bedroom with their newborn son, Ever. The couple reportedly refused to let Cambeiro out of the room for the duration of her 12-hour shift.

Bianca worked for Morissette between August 2011 and March 2013. Bianca was reportedly paid $25 an hour during the graveyard shift. The Daily Mail notes that Cambeiro worked from 9 pm to 9 am for 3-4 days a week. So, the fact is, she got paid to sleep in the same room as a baby. For $25 an hour. Sounds stressful.

Cambiero claims that she was not allowed to leave the room while Ever, born on Christmas Day 2010, slept and she was not allowed bathroom breaks. She says that the only time that she did get a break was when Alanis or her husband were in the room or when relieved by the day nanny. Bianca also alleges she went on tour with Alanis and worked seven days in a row on seven different occasions. I can understand the nanny's frustrations, should these allegations be true, but generally, if most people don't like their job, they simply find a new one. And usually before two years has nearly rolled by. Just sayin'.

The lawsuit was filed this week in Los Angeles Superior Court. According to the lawsuit, the night and day nannies in January 2012 asked Morissette's accountant about being paid overtime and allegedly were told, "We don't do that.".
