  • Adriana Lima and her husband of five years, Marko Jaric, announced their decision to separate last week and said they will continue to co-parent their two children, but the news doesn’t appear to have affected Lima in a negative way; the Brazilian model has been spotted in stunning clothes this week in a photo shoot and at the Met Gala, looking as gorgeous as ever. She did, however, suffer what looked like a nasty accident during a photo shoot earlier this week when she ran right into the side mirror on a bus.

The 32-year old Victoria’s Secret model was walking around the bus with her head down when she ran smack into the bar connecting the large mirror to the side of the vehicle. While it certainly looked painful, she is reportedly fine.

Lima and Jaric first met in 2006 and were married on Valentine’s Day in 2009; the couple released a statement last week saying they had reached the difficult decision to separate and asking for privacy.

“After long and careful consideration, we have decided to separate after five years of marriage. We are grateful to be the parents of two incredible young daughters that we will continue to co-parent. We would greatly appreciate your respect for our family’s privacy as we begin this delicate next chapter for all members of our family,” the statement read.

Lima said soon after they were married that she hadn’t thought of herself as the marrying kind until she met Jaric.

“Our life, we live in a honeymoon. I never saw myself being married. But after I met him, everything changed. I knew he was the one and I could see myself married with him and with a big family,” she said.
