Zooey Deschanel and her husband Jacob Pechenik welcomed their baby daughter in July but they are not revealing any details yet, including the baby’s name. However, there is one thing Deschanel wants people to know–her daughter is running for president!

The New Girl actress told her Twitter followers on Friday, that her daughter is going to join the race for President.  A new challenger has been born, literally, as Deschanel declared her baby is cuter than Donald Trump. So, Kanye West is not the only Hollywood celebrity who expressed interest to vie for the coveted position.

My infant daughter is going to run for president. She remains silent all of the key issues but she’s much cuter than Donald Trump.

Deschanel’s joke was made following the tweet announcing the latest trailer for Rock the Kasbah, her new film with Bill Murray, Kate Hudson and Bruce Willis.

The 35-year-old actress and her husband married on June 21 in Texas, which they kept secret from the public. They started dating in the middle of 2014. Pechenik, who was also the producer of Skeleton Twins, proposed on January 17, Deschanel’s birthday.

The couple did not know the sex of their baby until the day she was born.

‘We are going to be surprised,’ the actress told Jimmy Kimmel in her interview in March. ‘It’s more fun, you know? Make it into a game.

Aside from “running for President” the baby was said to be “extremely cute” according to the actress’ co-star Lamorne Morris. “She’s an extremely cute baby. She looks like Zooey.”

Morris believes Deschanel will make a great mother. In an interview with PEOPLE.com, he said, “She’s a great mom to us on set. She puts the hammer down on the craziness we do from time to time.”

Meanwhile, Rock the Kasbah will hit the theaters in October 23.
