Zooey Deschanel Compares Infant Daughter to Donald Trump

  • Zooey Deschanel took to Twitter on Friday to brag about her newborn daughter. She noted that rather than following in her mom’s footsteps as an actress, she’d much prefer her daughter go into politics.

And then she compared her baby girl to Donald Trump.

Don’t worry. This in no way means the precious baby has a whole headful of awful-looking hair that has to be glued to her head with one full can of hairspray every day. No, indeed. Instead, Zooey Deschanel has very specific reasons her daughter should run for president.

“My infant daughter is going to run for president. She remains silent all of the key issues but she’s much cuter than Donald Trump,” the New Girl star wrote in her message.

It was just last month that Zooey Deschanel and her producer/husband Jacob Pechenikn welcomed their baby girl into the world. The two secretly wed during a ceremony in Texas this past June.

While a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live this past winter, Zooey Deschanel dished about her pregnancy.

“You can’t eat so many things when you’re pregnant! If I was vegan, I’d just be like…ohhh. You can’t have sushi. You can’t have cheese that tastes good,” she said. “You can have a little bit [of coffee], but I would have, like, four cups a day. And now I can have a half cup, which is a joke! It’s a total joke!”

“You can’t have alcohol. I miss that, I like wine,” she added.

Zooey Deschanel can have wine now, but maybe she should wait until her daughter has been elected to public office. Then she can have several glasses in celebration.

The New Girl star has yet to share photos of her baby girl via social media. It’s a safe bet to believe, however, that she is way cuter than Donald Trump.
