  1. Wow sorry Mr. or Ms. Web Site Owner,
I know we just charged you a chunk-o-change to reoptimize your site for Microsoft’s Live Search update but Yahoo has also just updated their search engine with a new Search Assist Feature. We’re gonna’ have to update your site for that too since, after all, it is one of the major search engines. CaChing, CaChing, CaChing said the little SEO, all the way to the bank!
    Gotta love it!

  2. Just a heads-up from one Kentucky boy to another on your pub here. Nicely done. I blog for one of the major article markers on the net and use your pub’s pieces as the backbone for my posts time to time. All with backlinks to you, of course. lol I am pressing my higher to include your rss feeds on the site as well. I already have several of them on some of the blogs I run for myself.

I’m afraid the ‘auto complete’ values (strings) of the Yahoo search text box provide the most popular queries based on user input over time. I use it as a keyword search popularity to optimize my websites, but it also means the famous ‘web 2.0′ is one more step into world of “do what everybody else does”. A nice technological accomplishment (I always claimed Yahoo has brilliant programmers), but not necessarily a boost to the individuals’ needs..Have you noticed that clicking on a value in the drop down menu triggers the search automatically??
