AP reports Yahoo is suing seven former exployees, alleging that they stole trade secrets when they left to start MForma Group Inc.

Yahoo alleges the technology theft coincided with MForma’s hiring of a former manager, David Chang. When Chang submitted his Nov. 11 resignation from Yahoo, the company alleges he electronically copied a wide variety of internal documents that would have spanned tens of thousand pages if they had all been printed out.

The suit alleges Chang then recruited another Yahoo employee, Erik Pavelka, who provided more confidential information before joining MForma last month. Five other former Yahoo employees are named in the suit: Michael Temkin, Thomas Dignan, Jeff Leung, Christopher Reid and James Liang.
