Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, 21, was found unresponsive in a bathtub Saturday morning and rushed to a hospital in the north Atlanta suburbs, police said.

Officer Lisa Holland, a spokeswoman for the Roswell Police Department, said Bobbi Kristina Brown's husband, Nick Gordon, and a friend found the late singer's daughter in the tub around 10:30 a.m. and provided CPR as they waited on first responders.

When police and EMS arrived, they provided additional care until she was taken alive to North Fulton Hospital.

Police say they are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Bobbi Kristina Brown is the daughter of Whitney Houston and R&B singer Bobby Brown. In a bizarre case of déja vu, her mother was found dead of a drug overdose in a hotel bathtub on Feb. 11, 2012, in Beverly Hills, California, after battling addiction to cocaine, marijuana and pills for years.

Updates are forthcoming as details become available.
