Everyone knows her as Wendy Williams, the talk show host. Now, everyone will get to meet Wendy Williams, the author.
According to Examiner, on Thursday, Jan. 2, Williams the upcoming release of her new book, Hold Me In Contempt. The famed radio personality took to Twitter and Facebook to share the intriguing news with fans.
In her message, she stated that the book would hit stores April 1, 2014, and is actually already available for pre-orders through five major publication distributors including Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Books-a-Million. She also included a link to the book's website and overview.
The book will be released by world-renowned publisher, HarperCollins.
Now, one interesting factor about Williams' book is the subject matter. Given her famous 'Ask Wendy' segment on the show, most would easily assume that her book would be advice on relationships.
However, it's actually totally different from what one would expect.
Williams' is actually bringing a novel to the table! So, what's the book about?
According to HarperCollins, the novel centers around a woman by the name of Kimberly Kind. She struggled for quite some time to move beyond her past. Now, she's finally moving in the right direction.
With a successful career as a lawyer, her intelligence is paying off and she has the beauty to match. However, a terrible accident now threatens to alter the course of her life yet again, and she's left with a big secret that could compromise everything she's worked for.
Then, her path crosses with a man who immediately catches her attention. He is everything she's ever wanted in a man, and their attraction and chemistry is almost instant. Both are quickly aback by their immediate connection, and intense emotions.
