WebProWorld and CartoonSmart Launch Contest for Flash Animators

    May 10, 2004

Are you a Flash animator or interested in learning more about Flash animation?

WebProWorld, a forum for e-Business professionals, launched Friday its current Flash Animation Contest, inviting Flash animators of all skill levels to submit animations, movie clips, music videos, short stories, and other .swf files.

The contest is sponsored by Flash tutorial site CartoonSmart, which is providing contestants with the chance of winning Flash tutorials valued at over $150.00

The challenge behind this fun, friendly competition is “to show Flash’s ability to convey a message or stimulate an emotion.”

Contestants are given the creative freedom to choose their own topics and method of presentation.

There are, however, a few restrictions. HTML files will not be accepted and, due to WebProWorld’s broad audience, the .swf files must not contain profanity, graphic violence or graphic sexual content.

Think you’ve got the skills it will take to win? Show us what you can do…
