Almost a month after her father passed away from stage IV cancer, former Disney star Vanessa Hudgens and her mother, Gina visited his grave on Monday.
“Visiting pops with mama g,” Hudgens wrote on her Instagram alongside a photo of her and her mom smiling.

The actress showed immense courage when she continued with her show after her father passed away. Her late father, Greg died on January 30, just a day before the actress delivered her outstanding performance as Rizzo on Fox’s Grease: Live! Hudgens received tons of praise especially for her rendition of “There are Worse Things I Could Do.”

Moments before her show stopping performance, Vanessa Hudgens took to Twitter to dedicate the show to her father, as well as to thank people for showing support during their loss. “I am so sad to say that last night my daddy, Greg passed away from stage 4 cancer. Thank you to everyone who kept him in your prayers... Tonight I do the show in his honor,” she tweeted.
Last week, Hudgens posted a photo of her father and wrote, “Rest in peace, daddy.”
Meanwhile, she has been cast as the lead role on NBC’s upcoming comedy series, Powerless.

The half-hour office comedy produced by Warner Bros. is set in the DC comics universe. The story centers on the ordinary lives of ordinary employees at an insurance company in a world where superheroes and villains exist. Vanessa Hudgens will play Emily Locke, an insurance claims adjuster who finds pleasure in helping people through her job, but she must also deal with troublesome superheroes in her city.
The pilot is written and produced by Ben Queen with Michael Patrick Jann as director and executive producer.
Vanessa Hudgens is best known for her role in the musical series High School Musical.
