Ubisoft Releases a Combat Tutorial For Assassin’s Creed III

Assassin’s Creed III may have been overshadowed in recent weeks by other blockbuster game releases such as Halo 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops II, but Ubisoft hasn’t given up on releasing trailers for the title. While everyone is waiting for the provocative “The Tyranny of King Washington” alternate history downloadable content, the publisher has decided to release a tutorial on the fighting system in the latest Assassin’s Creed game.

In the video, Assassin’s Creed III Community Developer Dii Rancourt narrates the action as the basics of the game’s combat system are shown off. Of course, the combat system is pretty basic to begin with, though it does have a few intricacies, such as disarming, tripping, and countering. Nintendo should really be the company releasing tutorials right now, given the difficulty of the Wii U launch title ZombiU and the inherently complicated fighting systems of Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition.
