TV News for Sale?

PodGuide.tv notices that a whole batch of video programming from NBC News is available for sale in the iTunes Music Store.

To my knowledge, this is the first time that I have ever heard one of the “big four” networks making people pay for their news content. I am surprised that this didn’t attract more conversation. To me this is a sure sign that paid video and audio podcasts are coming next.
