Trista Sutter, best known for finding love on “The Bachelorette” in 2003, decided to have plastic surgery recently to lift her breasts and fix a droopy eyelid, and she’s showing off her new body in a recent issue of Life & Style Magazine.

“After nursing both my kids for a year each, my boobs were deflated. And I had a droopy eye. It was something that I noticed in every picture I’ve ever taken,” she said.

Sutter, who is still with husband Ryan–whom she met on the show–says she needed to have the surgery in order to feel better about herself, and that Ryan was very supportive of her decision. So she underwent a blepharoplasty–a procedure to lift both eyelids–and a breast lift and augmentation which added a cup size.

“I realized that the surgery was something I had to do for myself, just for my own self-confidence and to feel good again about being in bathing suits and being intimate with my husband…I wanted to feel pretty again — and I do!” the reality star said.

I think it’s sad that she resorted to plastic surgery in order to “feel pretty again.” There was nothing wrong with her body in the first place! If a person needs to undergo risky procedures in order to boost their self esteem then there are underlying issues that need to be addressed first. Nobody is going to stay and look young forever so you better brings something else to the table besides physical appearance.

I breast lift is hardly a “risky procedure”. I am a proponent of a natural looking figure and I think if she got a face lift or liposuction it would be a more negative aspect of boosting one’s self esteem. And I think of fixing a drooping eyelid as improving a flaw very much like pinning a ear back or some other fix. It isnt like she went to rock hard double D’s that she didn’t need like most ugly wannabe celebrities do.

“I realized that the surgery was something I had to do for myself, just for my own self-confidence and to feel good again about being in bathing suits and being intimate with my husband,” said Trista.

sad example for gals of all ages.

  • Casey

She looked fine before. I nursed two babies for two years each and I just found better bras when I was finished. Of course not everyone can afford plastic surgery just to boost their self confidence, my husband actually does that for me by telling me how pretty I am even with my “deflated” boobs and c-section scars. I understand her reasoning to feel better about herself, but she was fine before too.

She should accept the gifts God gave her and not worry so much about a little gravity..
it’s inevitable. Why we focus so much on looks is beyond me, however she based her career and life on her looks so I suppose media and people have created what we see…
Good luck with your new Boobs I hope they make you happy..just be thankful you’re healthy and you didn’t need them for reasons due to having cancer or some medical reason, others aren’t so fortunate..sad society in which we live..

We men typically put on weight after marriage. We start to lose hair on our heads, and grow it back in other weird places, yet our wives reassure us of their love and their attraction to us. Husbands love their wives and easily look past age related changes, as the same is going on with us. Its time women start accepting the affirmation their husbands provide for them.

I’m not anti-plastic surgery, but this story reads like the early stories of women who are now on their 10th and 15th procedure.

You go, Trista. Do what you gotta do for yourself and to $%^* with
    the negative comments.

      …direct from Barbie’s mouth

  • whatevergals

Superficial and weak. Her husband either wanted her to get them done or she couldn’t handle a second thought on for one day not being happy with what she has two children, money and just living every day. I think people who get plastic surgery for vanity or mean to those women who are already blessed and chastise us for having boobs and God loves me for me and I know it! Very WEAK TRISTA!!!!! STUPID ALPHA!

  • Ed

I like the before and after. I would do both of them :)

  • Gary E. Bischoff

I think she looks kind of skinny, actually, although at age 40 she is also still attractive. Her “before” boobs sagged too much even for someone her age, but the fact that her “after” boobs are fake is obvious.

  • Jay

Before boobs are much much better! Natural always and forever!

  • John H

Shame. I like the orignal pair. She could have saved time and suffering with a few visiits to a shrink.

    • Steve Joihnson

From what we see was done with her boobs, I think she did see a “shrink”

  • Dave

really i would have loved Trista’s breast or eyes or figure no matter what but a woman’s breast are important to her and her self confidence and if it helped boost hers then great. I think we all forget that we don’t have a say in what a celebrity or any person does to their body so lets stop trying because its only going to annoy and upset others including Trista.

    • Philo

Penis size is equally important to men for confidence building, but you don’t see any men getting johnson implants do you??

Breast implants were originally designed for women who lost their breasts to cancer.

Taxidermy’d t*ts may look good in a sweater, but naked…they look and feel disgusting.

  • Gil

    the before boobs look delicious.

    • Steve Joihnson

      Agreed

  • smt

Too bad. I like the “before” set better than the “after”. Nothing hotter than getting a chick in the dog position, and seeing those natural hangers swing forward and back.

  • chole

Those are not the same woman! Unless she had several more surguries that “before” picture is not Trista. The mouth is wrong so is the neck and numerous other differences.I don’t think this writer did her fact checking!

  • KWalker

    That’s truly sad.

I struggled with self/body-image for years despite being thin and fit. I saw a therapist after the loss of a loved one and therapy led me to realize that I had “issues” and put unrealistic pressure on myself. It took time, but eventually I learned to love myself exactly the way I am. I now have had five children, will never have my pre-baby body back, but take care of myself and feel great about my appearance. My husband tells me he feels I am sexier than ever with natural post-baby boobs, etc.

We all get older and physical aging is inevitable. At some point Trista will have to accept that. So many celebrities chase youth with plastic surgery or other procedures and they look like a different species with frozen faces and inflated lips. It’s not beautiful at all and really a sad commentary on our society.
