Back in July, Glee star Cory Monteith died after abusing heroin and alcohol. His death left his friends and co-stars grieving and saddened, but his acting career is destined to go on for a while longer.
Monteith had recently starred in two movie productions, McCanick and All the Wrong Reasons. McCanick will be the first movie to see a release, and is now making its way across the movie festival circuit. The movie stars character actor David Morse (The Green Mile, The Hurt Locker, House) as McCanick, a cop with a past to hide. Monteith plays a convicted felon whose release from prison could expose McCanick's past actions and those of his superiors.

McCanick will be part of the Tornonto International Film Festival in September. The festival (in addition to releasing the amusing Fading Gigolo trailer) has released a short clip from the movie:
