Tori Spelling and her family are excited about their upcoming TV special on the Cooking Channel, and in honor of it she and hubby Dean McDermott competed in a food-related spelling bee on the Today Show earlier this week. Dubbed the "Tori Spelling Spelling Bee," both Tori and Dean were asked to spell the names of foods.

Zucchini was the first word up, with Tori Spelling acing it. Dean McDermott spelled bruschetta correctly in the next round.

"That was super sexy and impressive," the True Tori star told him.
Tori Spelling hesitated over the word "gyro," which is presented "yeero." She wound up spelling it correctly after hearing the definition.

Dean McDermott tripped up over the spelling of "Worcestershire" at the end of the "Tori Spelling Spelling Bee," conceding defeat to wife Tori Spelling.

"You're still the best chef, but I'm still the best speller," Tori told him.

Fortunately for all of Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's fans, the couple recently dished about how much better their marriage is these days--a far cry from when Dean cheated on Tori during a two-day affair.

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott will share spring cooking ideas when they appear on the Cooking Channel on Sunday.

Will you be tuning in?
