New Paid Links Service Sparks More Debate

Quite a storm of debate has erupted over a new service called InLinks - essentially a paid text link service that allegedly makes it hard for Google (and other search engines) to detect them. And mouths of Internet marketers begin to salivate.

Bounce rates are a metric that may become more of a factor as SEOs struggle with the ever-changing world of SERPs, which some are predicting to be become much more personalized over the coming year. As discussed in an interview with Mike McDonald (video below), big name SEO Bruce Clay notes that going forward, SEOs are going to have to look at analytics, measure traffic, bounce rates, action, etc., and ask themselves questions like did I get the conversion I was after?

NBC Launches Video Trivia Game On Facebook

NBC News has launched a new video trivia game application on Facebook called "What's Your iCue?"The video trivia game was developed by NBC Learn, the educational division of NBC News. The game allows Facebook users to answer questions based on video footage from NBC News archives. Users have 30 seconds to answer questions and can play the game in real time with their Facebook friends.

If you use Google Docs, you might be pleased to know that Google is now offering templates for forms. And to start off they've got 13 different ones to choose from. If you are not familiar with templates in Google Docs, to utilize them, you go to New and select from template from the pull-down menu.
Yahoo Unloads Kelkoo

Yahoo-owned comparison shopping site Kelkoo is Yahoo-owned no more. The European service was founded in 1999 and purchased by Yahoo in 2004 for €450 million. Prior to that it had been involved in deals with both Microsoft and Ask.
