A new meta-search engine has been released in beta that searches Google, Yahoo, and MSN and organizes results by page rank. P.R.A.S.E. (Page Rank Assisted Search Engine) is designed to eliminate duplicate results and streamline the process of finding link partners when building for SEO.
Produced by Don Johnson Design (not the Miami Vice guy), P.R.A.S.E. sorts results three times-first by search engine, second according to PageRank, and then finalizing the results by listing in descending order according to their search engine ranking.
Pages with the same PageRank are sorted by their index ranking so that the highest ranking appears first, regardless of which search engine it was found. In cases of a tie in search engine ranking, the search engine with the largest market share is listed first (i.e., first Google, then Yahoo, then MSN).
The company says that P.R.A.S.E. is intended to save search marketers time by showing the page rank of a given site at first glance. The engine has a function that allows users to select PageRank target range.
Eventually, says Don Johnson Design, P.R.A.S.E. will have the capability to act as its own search engine.
