Hulu To Cover Music Festival, Include Facebook

Austin City Limits will showcase Clutch and others

If you're in the mood to listen to music and have some time on your hands later today (or Saturday, Sunday, or Monday), Hulu is ready to help.  Performances from the Austin City Limits Music Festival will be streamed not only on Hulu itself, but on Facebook, too.

Hulu's coverage of the event can be accessed through its homepage.  As for the Facebook aspect, a post on the Hulu Blog acknowledged that this tie-up is a first, and encouraged readers, "RSVP to the event on Facebook and invite your friends by sharing this link: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=143534151724."

Now, let's move on to the concert details.  Today's activities will kick off at 10:30 AM PDT and last through 8:30 this evening.  Eight out of ten performances should be streamed live, with several recognizable artists (Coheed and Cambria, John Legend, Andrew Bird) performing.

Tomorrow, things are scheduled to start a little earlier (9:45 AM), and And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead is part of the lineup.  Then things should get really fun on Sunday since Clutch will perform live.

Monday's schedule, unfortunately, has yet to be determined, as it's supposed to consist of festival highlights.

Anyway, Hulu's coverage of the music festival should provide lots of entertainment and also represents an interesting moment in the site's relationship with Facebook.

Very nice

I like when these multi-day concerts are streamed live on the internet. You can often see more online than you would see actually being at the concert cause they have all stages available to view.
