New Gmail Lab for Recipient Suggestions

Anticipates Who Else You Want to Send To

Today Google has launched yet another feature in Gmail Labs. This is the "Suggest more recipients" feature, and caters to instances when you send email to the same group of people regularly.

For example I often send pictures of my daughter to my family and friends, and this usually consists of the same email addresses. So now, if I begin by entering two of their addresses, this feature will theoretically suggest the others in that group for easy inclusion.

Recipient Suggestions

"Hopefully having lots of friends and co-workers just got a bit less onerous for you (Oh, the burden of popularity!), says Ari Leichtberg on the Gmail Blog.

To add the suggested addresses, simply click on the suggestion links. To add the feature itself, go to the labs tab in your Gmail settings and find it among many other possible features.

Other recent additions to Gmail Labs include image insertion, sender time zones, and suggestions for search. There are plenty more to experiment with for inbox customization.
