Official Finance For Android App Launches
Google not responsible for resulting high blood pressure, heart attacks, etc. Most days, this news might not be welcome; watching the economy fall apart is no fun. Today, though, the Dow is up quite a bit, and we're happy to report that a Google Finance application for Android has launched.

The app started as the 20 percent project of Googlers Arun Mathew and Nick Fey. Over time, their team grew, and their product became quite impressive. On the Google Mobile Blog, Mathew and Fey explained how the new app manages to both match and complement the original Google Finance.
"If you are following the markets throughout the day, check out the real-time streaming quotes in your portfolio, fast stock look-ups with search auto-suggestion, and 'recent quotes' to make it even easier receive quotes on-the-go," the pair suggested. "For each stock, you can see detailed quotes, charts and news, and any change you make to your portfolio automatically syncs up with the Google Finance website."
Perhaps the only drawback is that non-U.S. markets aren't covered, so super-serious traders and people outside America may have some trouble following all of their investments.
But even that barrier may fall, and with the Dow and Nasdaq up 2.59 and 2.65 percent, respectively, there seem to be plenty of domestic financial developments worth watching.

non-U.S. markets aren't covered
Yes, "non-U.S. markets aren't covered" perhaps just not yet or it's been for us down under a start of the beginning. BTW I asked in two stores about Android powered devices, as I am absolutely thirsty for these type of news ( and obviously all news about Google - not only financial ), but the staff can describe so far just one phone product. Therefore I am searching and reading on the web, which I would have done extensively anyway. Thank you.
