Twitter Book Shows Business Usefulness

Post to Twitter Post to Facebook

What About a Movie?

You may have heard that there was a possible Facebook Book in the works. "My next book is about the kids who founded Facebook," says author Ben Mezrich.

Well, it turns out that there is a book already available about Twitter. It's less of a bio on the founders however, and more of a how-it-can-help-you book for businesses.

Twitter Means Business

Chapters have titles like:

- Twitter: Why You Should Care
- Five Companies Using Twitter
- Still More Firms on Twitter
- Twitter and Public Relations
- The Twitter Experts Weigh In
- Twitter Tips, Tricks and Tools

The book should help those who still question how Twitter can benefit their businesses. Interestingly enough, the book appears to be endorsed (at least to some extent) by Twitter Co-founder Biz Stone himself, who points to iton the Twitter Blog.

As far as I know, there is not Twitter movie in the works yet. I wouldn't be surprised to see it start appearing in other movies in the future though.

Twitter for Webmasters

I think Twitter is mainly used by webmasters and people/experts in that field. Ordinary people (not me) use Facebook and myspace.

It's all about connecting

just link any other social media, twitter is about meeting new people. And usually it's not a stand-alone thing, it's something you do for your site/blog/business.

I don't know why people use

I don't know why people use twitter. It's just a blogging site but your comments are limited. Often it's people just saying what they ate for lunch.

Facebook or Twitter

It is funny, because in Denmark, almost no ones uses Twitter. Instead Facebook is the big thing.
