Amazon.com has announced it is now offering Black Friday deals beginning today that will run through Cyber Monday.

The online retailer is also offering customers a chance to win a $10,000 Amazon.com Shopping Spree in the Black Friday Sweepstakes. The Black Friday sweepstakes closes at 11:59 p.m. PST, November 30.

The Amazon Black Friday page is the central point where customers can find Black Friday deals. On Black Friday itself, Amazon is offering customers hourly "Lightning Deals" from 12:01 am to 11 p.m. PST along with discounts for the entire day.

Amazon's video on demand is offering $0.99 rentals on "Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull," "The Incredible Hulk," and "Get Smart," normally available for $3.99. The offer is available for three days (11/28-11/30). Customers can watch the movies online on their computers or they download the video and watch it later.

Mobile users can text "COMPARE" to AMAZON (262966) with the product name and Amazon will reply with a text message listing the price.  Customers can reply to the text to make a purchase by texting "BUY" or follow the link in the message to the Amazon mobile Web site to view the product detail page.

In addition, launching on Black Friday is the Holi-DAILY Idea page, which offers gift recommendations everyday until Christmas along with survival tips.
