Paul Newman Dies, FamousDeadDB.com Covers It

Post to Twitter Post to Facebook

The Internet is quick with final tributes

Legendary actor Paul Newman has died and within minutes of his passing was immortalized on the popular FamousDeadDB.com website. The Internet has clearly surpassed newspapers as the "printed" record of both famous and non-famous deaths.

Similar to Legacy.com which allows users to create obituaries about their loved ones who die, FamousDeadDB.com creates a virtual tribute page for those who have achieved notoriety in their life. Visitors can write their own feelings about the celebrity in the guestbook created for each death.

With the death of Paul Newman FamousDeadDB.com provides a video clip of a biography on the beloved actors life. The site also links via thumbnail pictures to many other videos related to Paul Newman around the Web.

Paul Newman is arguably most famous for his role of Butch Cassidy in the movie "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid". His cool demeanor in the movies and his charitable and giving life will always be remembered... and will forever be digitally preserved on the Internet.

Paul Newman

it's hard not to admire Paul Newman for putting his money to work in such productive ways, such as his Newman's Own line--high quality stuff and the proceeds go to good causes... very smart.

RE:

It's really just a testament to how much the Internet really is integrated into more aspects of our daily lives (and deaths in this case).

Paul Newman

There have been many tributes, but the best we always wish for and realise is that he is in heaven now and that is really all that matters
