BlogWorld: How To Build You, Inc.

Interviews with Tim Ferriss & Mike Shinoda

I just arrived at Blogworld Expo and am getting ready for a weekend of great bonding with more than a thousand fellow bloggers as well as two great sessions that I am looking forward to. My first is on a panel moderated by my friend Kelly Feller from Intel all about social media case studies from the real world. I will be sharing a few thoughts about the Lenovo campaign (post coming tonight), as well as some lessons I learned from promoting my book, and a third example from something we did for Ford last year that I think will be interesting for the audience. That's at 11am tomorrow - so if you are around hope you can make it.

My second session is to moderate the keynote on Sunday morning where I'm very excited be moderating a discussion about building your personal brand with Tim Ferriss, best selling author of the Four Hour Workweek, and Mike Shinoda, leading man for the multi-platnum award winning band Linkin Park (check out the two videos below to get an introduction to both guys). Our session is going to delve into some of the lessons they have both learned along the way about building their personal brands, how important their personalities have been to their success and advice that they have for all of us wanting to do the same and perhaps reach their level either on our own or through our blogs. That does start at 9am - early for a Sunday morning session ... but will be well worth it. I'm also doing a book signing right afterward at 10am.

Mike Shinoda's powerful new song about his heritage from his new solo label Fort Minor:

Tim Ferris on why you need to unplug and reset your life (and ditch your Blackberry):

I'll be back tomorrow with a recap of the first panel as well as to republish the slides I'll be using in my panel.
