Any north american who can't see this as a publicity stunt , has to to be dumb as hell. Her virginity would be believable if A: this was the 50's or B: she was 16, OR C : she has a believable cover story which could be: Her parents were missionarys who died and left her to be raised by nuns in a remote mountanous region of turkmenistan . OR: her father was a mormon who beat her if she touched her genitals OR: she spent her life hooked up to a dialysis machine and didn't develop a social life. Or :>>(you think of a better reason) People who are virgins have reasons to retain their virginity. MOral reasons for her virginity seem pretty weak , since having sex in a brothel for 1 million dollars is actually an immoral thing to do. And she admits to boyfriends. So she managed to keep her hymen intact? ( which can be surgically reconstructed BTW) Her boyfriends must all have pencil dicks, or else they're gay as hell. I recently read a survey that said 18-25% of young women still think they're virgins if they have anal sex or oral sex with they're boyfriend. And women who do porn don't think they're prostitutes. etc etc. Are there any reporters out there who aren't hacks, who could find her ex-boyfriends and find out how far she went? Anyone dumb enough to bid on her , won't be getting his money back , when her dubious "virginity" is actually revealed . Her sisters ocupation as a prostitute, sheds some light on her family morals. Looks like her university education only taught her to choose prostition as a carreer.
A 22-year-old woman is auctioning off her virginity on the Internet on bunnyranch.com in order to pay for her college education.
The woman is using the alias Natalie Dylan "for safety reasons." Dylan has earned her bachelors degree in women's studies from Sacramento State and in January she will start working on her master's in marriage and family therapy there.
"I don't have a moral dilemma with it," Dylan told the NY Daily News. "We live in a capitalists society. Why shouldn't I be allowed to capitalize on my virginity?"
Dylan hopes the online bidding will reach $1 million. eBay would not allow the auction to take place on its site. The Nevada brothel, Moonlite Bunny Ranch is where the deal will be consummated. Dylan's sister currently is working there to pay off her college debts.
To prove her virginity Dylan will submit to a polygraph test and a gynecological exam. The date for the auction was not immediately available.
Her mother, a conservative fourth-grade teacher does not approve of what she is doing, "but supports her."
"I understand some people may condemn me," said Dylan. "But I think this is empowering."
The news of the auction has created a buzz in the blogosphere. Connie Veneracion wrote on her blog,"A cool million is too much to pay for grad school. Put it another way, this seems to be a study on how stupid men can be that someone will actually offer that much to have sex with a virgin."
Mike Pechar writes on his blog,"I suggest it's unusual for an attractive female to be born, bred, and schooled to the age of 22 in California with her virtue intact. Maybe abstinence was taught in her schools. Of course, a lot of good it does if one decides to become a whore."
