The New York Giants and the Global Gaming League (GGL) are partnering to offer a new online video game competition and community portal for Giants fans.

The new Giants Game Day Live portal will allow users to compete in multiple and interactive video game tournaments Users can track stats, rankings and leaderboards online and can play Game Day Live on Xbox 360 and PlayStation3.

"I put my heart and soul into cheering for the Giants over the years, and I can't tell you how ecstatic I am that they've won the Super Bowl! They're my passion, but so is gaming," said GGL Chairman and CEO Ted Owen.

Users will compete for prizes, including tickets to Giants home games, Giants merchandise, and footballs singed by Giants players. The tournaments will be promoted on all Giants media properties including TV, radio and online.

"Giants fans are increasingly utilizing the Internet to enhance their involvement with each other in the truest sense of community and we are partnering with GGL to provide our fans with best-in-class videogame technology," said Mike Stevens, New York Giants SVP and Chief Marketing Officer.
