Police Investigate Another YouTube Clip

Yes, we know pushing that pedal makes you go fast

When approaching a speed trap, one should always try to look responsible.  Put both hands on the wheel, keep your eyes on the road, and try not to make a horrendous squeal and a lot of red light if applying the brakes becomes necessary.  Unless you want to get in trouble.  But even then, you can do it from the comfort of your home office.

Yes, another idiot posted a video of his above-the-speed-limit escapades on YouTube.  And we do mean idiot -Police Investigate Another YouTube Clip driving fast is "fun," but endangering other people isn't "cool."  Aggressive driving should be done at slow times or in quiet places, where the only trouble you can cause is the loss of whatever tax dollars it'll take to clean your wreckage up.

Luckily, this latest example of stupidity didn't waste innocent life or (much) government money.  Carrie-Ann Skinner just reports, "Police are investigating a video clip posted on YouTube which appears to show a motorcyclist driving at 125mph on a motorway.  The three-minute film shows other motorists swerving to avoid the car in the outside lane of the M23 in Sussex."

And in response, a spokesman for the Sussex Police said, "If identified, strong consideration will be given to prosecution."

The YouTube clip appears to have been pulled, or else we'd pop in a link.  Views would probably only add to the driver's ego, however, so this might be just as well.
