Obama, Huckabee Win New Hampshire (Web Visits)

Can the candidates match their sites in Tuesday's voting?

Internet visitors to Presidential candidate websites from New Hampshire have made Mike Huckabee and Barack Obama their favorite Republican and Democratic destinations.

Barely a week after Obama and Huckabee surprised political observers by winning the Iowa primary, the duo have found plenty of favor with web surfers from the Granite State.

Huckabee may be trailing John McCain as far as the polls say, but among Republicans, the Arkansas governor leads McCain and Ron Paul with the largest volume of visits from New Hampshire online, for the four weeks ended January 5th, according to Hitwise.

Democrats outdraw Republicans when considering the same time frame. Obama leads all candidates in New Hampshire visits, followed by Hillary Clinton and John Edwards.

"While Huckabee's rise this week may be a result of curiosity given his win in Iowa, it will be interesting to see how closely Tuesday's New Hampshire results map to Internet visits," Bill Tancer of Hitwise said in their blog.

Going into last week's Iowa primary, Obama and Paul had been the leading Democrat and Republican pulling in website visitors.
