If we're to compare news stories to Christmas presents, then this is not the biggest one under the tree. It's probably, at best, something rather small in a stocking. Nonetheless: MySpace has added a Photobucket-related option to its Comments Editor.

As a result, it's become easier than ever to add a picture from Photobucket to a MySpace comment. Just click the new "Add image from Photobucket" button, and you'll be allowed to browse (and search) Photobucket albums. Another click should select an image, and one more will add the picture to your comment.
And there you have it. In response to Duncan Riley's article on the subject, "facebookjunkie" asked, "Waitpeople still use Myspace?" Sarcasm and lack of enthusiasm aside, though, this should have reasonably large implications for at least one group of people.
Flickr and other Photobucket competitors seem to come up with innovations on a monthly basis. So, on the Photobucket Blog, a post states, "We're pretty excited about this, because we know how many of you love MySpace. We know you like to access Photobucket's Find Stuff area to get all the best icons to decorate your profile."
Right. Well, that may be the case, but we're still hoping that at least a few more interesting stories come out before the big holiday.
