Google Centralizing AdSense Management

Instead of generating and copy/pasting new code with each color or channel change for an ad unit, the AdSense team has rolled out a better way to do this. Google's AdSense Blog The latest features from Google's AdSense product have started to rollout to site publishers. These changes should make tweaking ad units a much easier experience.

"Each time you want to change the colors, channels, or even the corner styles for your ad units, you can make the changes directly in your account rather than generating and pasting new code," Google said on the AdSense blog.

Old ad code will continue to work as it always has. Those who want to get the benefit of the new features will be able to import the code and save it.

Changing the size of ad units will mean generating a new ad, as this is one of the things the update won't be able to do through the management interface. Google also noted that the new code needs to be generated through the Google AdSense account; options to generate code at a partner site won't include the new features.
