The Online Publishers Association, a nonprofit trade group, has relaunched its Web site to create a better destination for research, news and commentary related to online media.

"Our goal with the re-launch of the OPA website was to evolve the design, enhance the usability, and expand the content," said OPA President Pam Horan.

"With additional news and research, the new site is an even more comprehensive resource for key online media and advertising information. And to help users quickly and efficiently access this wealth of information, we upgraded the site search capability."

The sites new search allows users to find organized and in-depth list of recent news and information. Search results are organized in seven categories: OPA research; industry research; recent industry news; recent news about the OPA; OPA newsletters; OPA press releases; and, Web pages on the OPA site.

OPA research includes the Internet Activity Index, which for the past four years has measured time spent in "key" Internet categories and offers useful information to online advertisers.

The OPA has plans in the next several weeks to launch a "Members Center" which will provide OPA members access to custom research, copies of presentations from OPA events, and information on industry best practices.
