Social networking site MySpace has formed an exclusive partnership with Rogers Wireless, Canada's largest wireless services provider to offer MySpace to Roger Wireless customers on select mobile phones.

The deal is MySpace's first mobile partnership in Canada and provides Rogers Wireless customers access to MySpace Mobile's tool set including editing MySpace profiles, view and add friends, post comments and blogs, send and receive MySpace messages.

"It's our goal to offer our users the ability to connect to their MySpace friends in any country, at anytime, anywhere," said Travis Katz, SVP and General Manager of MySpace International.

"We're thrilled to partner with Rogers Wireless in our efforts to further on-the-go connectivity across Canada. We're seeing incredible uptake worldwide for MySpace Mobile initiatives and we're excited to bring this functionality to our MySpace Canada community."

MySpace launched its Canadian community in May 2007. The MySpace Canada site is localized and available online in both French and English.

MySpace has localized sites in 18 international territories including the United States, UK, Japan, Australia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Canada, Netherlands, New Zealand, Latin America, Switzerland, Sweden, and Austria. MySpace has over 115 million members globally according to comScore Media Metrics.
