VideoCafe To Offer Video Content To Bloggers

Online platform for video news content the NewsMarket has launched a new service that allows bloggers to source and embed video into their posts.

VideoCafe brings video content from major companies and international organizations to bloggers to use on their blogs. Footage available for embedding into blogs comes from Google, Yahoo, Intel, Nintendo, AOL, Dell, and Dow Chemical.

"VideoCafe meets the rising demand for video from bloggers looking to increase their relevance and influence by providing multimedia content to their posts," says Shoba Purushothaman, CEO & Co-founder of The NewsMarket.

"As our video archive has grown, we've seen a sharp increase in requests from bloggers for access to the content. We now have new capabilities in our technical infrastructure designed to support the needs of bloggers who are keen to be able link to and embed video within their posts."

Bloggers will be able to obtain video by retrieving the video embed code for the content, which allows the VideoCafe player to play content on their blog or by downloading the content using VideoCafe clip delivery system. VideoCafe is currently in beta and video will be available on an invitation-only basis.

The NewsMarket completes around 30,000 requests per month for video clips from global news media and believes the demand will be much the same from bloggers. The video clips are free to journalist and bloggers.
