Apple will begin offering YouTube videos on Apple TV starting in mid-June. The full catalog of YouTube videos is expected to be available on Apple TV in the fall.
"This is the first time users can easily browse, find and watch YouTube videos right from their living room couch, and it's really, really fun," said Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO.
"YouTube is a worldwide sensation, and Apple TV is bringing it directly from the Internet onto the widescreen TV in your living room."
Apple is also promoting its new Apple TV build-to-order option with a 160GB hard drive. The new hard drive has storage capacity for up to 200 hours of video, 36,000 songs and 25,000 photos.
The standard Apple TV sells for $299, while the TV with the larger hard drive is available for $399.
