Google will announce the company's fourth quarter 2006 results during a conference call on Wednesday, January 31, the company reported.
The 4Q earnings call will be accessible via live webcast at 1:30 pm Pacific (4:30 pm Eastern).
Wall Street has been bullish on Google stock recently, with prices matching the all the time high of $513 per share reached on November 22. Currently, Google stock is hovering around $490. The one-year target price is $557.
It was about this time last year, when Google stock fans were worked into a frenzy with $500 price tags in their eyes.
Unfortunately for shareholders, Google missed its earnings estimates due to miscalculations of tax payments and international exchange rates. Stock plummeted to the 300's, and have taken a year to regain.
Next Wednesday, we'll know if Google had its math right this time. If so, the company's ever-increasing share of the search market, coupled with some key acquisitions (YouTube in 2006, for example), may launch that one-year target through the roof.
