OMG! American Idol Blogs

You know, I was just thinking: teenage girls don't talk enough. We need an online space just for them where they'll feel comfortable speaking their mindsoh wait, here's one. American Idol has added a cheer section to its website where fans can blog, dish and trash the contestants. So awesome! Anybody got a scrunchie?

Bring up the homepage and you'll see a tag cloud revealing the most blogged about Karaokers--it's sooo 2.0. I would have said, "hottest" singers, but look who's lighting up the female adolescent world.

"The world is changed. I feel it in the water. I feel it in the earth. I smell it in the air. Much that once was is lost, for none now live who remember it."--Galadriel

Can anyone please tell me when Fonzie stopped being cool and Erkel took over? This is Bill Gates' fault, isn't it?

Ahem. Anyway, the page is continually updated with "Most Recent Blog Posts" and "Most Active Blog Tags" for those who can't get enough pop indulgence.

On a much cooler note (cuz it involves hard rockin', playa!), American Idol contestant Chris Daughtry is rumored to have been offered a spot as the new lead singer for rock band Fuel, after performing the band's popular song "Hemorrhage" last week.

Fuel's lead singer left the band in February and the band is holding an open online audition for rocker hopefuls. On the band's website, vocalists are invited to download the instrumental version of "Hemorrhage," record themselves and send it back for the band's perusal.

Nobody's got a scrunchie, really?
