New modules displayed on the front of Yahoo's Video Search page make some of the newest online video content from both Yahoo and the web available at a single click.
With all the attention being paid to Yahoo adding "ka-ching!" to Del.icio.us today, it's understandable that the latest post on the Yahoo! Search Blog got a little over-looked.
Take a look at Yahoo's Video Search site. New modules, using the popular Web 2.0 "rounded corners" look, display Video Search's featured videos, as well as popular and recently added video content.
Under the "popular" section, terms for the top searches appear, along with links to videos from popular sources like MTV and BusinessWeek. Clicking on a top search term, like one for Barcelona forward and European Footballer of the Year Ronaldinho returns a grid of snapshots of video footage available in a variety of formats.
The grid view can be switched to a list with a mouse click, and clicking on an image launches the appropriate player for the format. Yahoo Video Search product manager Andy Volk posted that users can "look forward to fresh content every day" in those modules.
