Japan Today reports that Yahoo Japan and parent company Softbank Corp. said it would consider becoming a "white knight," or friendly shareholder if TBS asks them, in order to block the advances of an aggressive rival suitor, Rakuten, Inc., who has quietly acquired 20% interest in the company.
