Feedster CEO Moves On

Employee turnover is a big part of the technology sector, especially for the internet industry. Reports about established personnel leaving positions to start new businesses or join competitor companies grow daily.

With that in mind, Scott Rafer, CEO of Feedster.com, announced he would be leaving Feedster in order to pursue other interests. Rafer made the announcement through his personal blog. In his post, Rafer claims the time is right for another person to lead Feedster through another next stage of growth.

Besides providing the technology for AOL's feed search, Feedster has also initiated an ad program designed to bring contextual advertising to RSS feeds.

Rafer feels he has helped Feedster grow from nothing into something during his two years of service. The post goes on to say that since his departure, Rafer will be traveling, focusing on new projects, and accepting the chairman position at Wireless Ink.
