Yahoo on a SERPing Safari?

It looks like Yahoo maybe dickering with search engines results again, much to the chagrin of many of their customers. Many are noting a decided decrease in the quality of the product and some suggest Yahoo may just be tweaking their program.

A hat tip to Search Engine Roundtable and Web Master World forums for this. It seems to be a big point of conversation of the last 24 hours and their forums. A number of people on there have reported odd events in the Yahoo's serps with some even calling it bizarre.

Here are some comments from WebMasterWorld:

Deanril opened the thread saying, "Looks like a lot of junk sites, and Im not saying this because Im not there, I am. But really starting to look bad. Old sites that havent been touched in like 2-3 years on front page for major keywords and the have barely any on page anything.... Crazy serps, maybe this is somehow related to the up and coming Yahoo Adsense?"

Hawk reported, "One of our sites that was in top 10 for almost 7 keywords with a competition of nearly 39,300,000 pages is gone from Yahoo. It is not even listed for any keyword. The site seems to have been removed after this update. We never did anything wrong.

How is that possible and how to request yahoo for it's re-in-inclusion?"

Some even suggest it has to do with Yahoo updating the link command system. In any event, it's rattling a few users and many are probably wonder what's up. There's no explanation just yet.
