Google Shows Mac Gmail Users Some Love

The Mac faithful at Google have created a version of the Gmail Notifier for Apple's signature OS.

A new entry in the Google Blog shows how one dedicated Mac developer at Google can make a difference for other Mac fans:

I'm a Mac user. Most of my friends are Mac users. After a little coaxing, most of my family are now Mac users. So I decided to spend 20% of my time here on a small application that may help all of the Mac users in my life: a Gmail Notifier for Mac OS X.

Greg Miller, a software engineer at the Googleplex, developed the small application. He notes that this is Google's first Mac application, and posts "it won't be the last native Mac application that Google delivers."
