A Chinese researcher was apparently shocked to learn that a large percentage of young men on the Internet had an interest in nudity. Scientific breakthroughs to follow: women like chocolate, cats are stupid, and an in-depth expos on the mystery of where babies come from.
Researcher Liu Gang of the China Youth Association discovered that up to 20,000 Chinese people log on to chat rooms every day to strip and/or chat via webcams, according to Tuesday's Shanghai Daily.
"At first, we thought it was merely a game for a few mentally abnormal people," said Liu. "But as our research continued, we found the problem was much larger than expected."
That hordes of mentally abnormal people chatting naked through difficult to regulate media is latest threat to national health and morality, soon to be listed among free speech and thinking.
Liu decided from only 10 sites out of thousands available that 80% of the people involved were single men between 25 and 35 who had difficulty holding down a steady job, meaning that work is, indeed, the anti-aphrodisiac. Welcome to the 19th century Mr. Liu.
