IBM Press will promote its new book, "Search Engine Marketing, Inc.: Driving Search Traffic to Your Company's Web Site," at Search Engine Strategies 2005 in San Jose.
Co-authors Bill Hunt (CEO and Founder of Global Strategies International) and Mike Moran (IBM Distinguished Engineer and manager of ibm.com site architecture) will attend SES 2005 in San Jose.
The two will speak at a couple of sessions at the conference, Big Site/Big Brand SEM and Working Together, both part of the In-House track at SES 2005. Both will participate in an In-House forum question and answer session.
Their new book offers a step-by-step process aimed at starting a SEM program for an organization, according to a press release. Search Engine Marketing, Inc touches on issues starting with the basics of search marketing through to optimizing a site for the best possible placement in an index.
Advertisers who want to take something home with them to better get started on their search engine marketing programs would do well to pickup a copy of this book. With so many users starting their daily Net browsing from a search engine, high placement in places like Google and Yahoo can be the difference between success and a smoking 404 Not Found result where a failed site used to be.
