Details On IE7s Standards Compliance

The IE blog details the CSS/web standards compliance bugs they are fixing or have already fixed in IE7.

They really are doing their best to address the complaints about IE.

Two things I didn't notice in my first look at IE7: They combined the drop down list on the Back and Forward buttons with a chronological list that goes both backwards and forwards, showing your position in the list. Also, they combined Stop and Refresh into a single button that changes based on the page load state. Both great usability moves.

One thing I did notice: The Refresh/Stop button is too small, and its placement on the right confuses normal browsing patterns. I can learn to live with the placement, but the size is just annoying. Perhaps they can make it larger horizontally to make it easier to hit?
