Yahoo! is giving hopeful online video makers some great exposure plus a chance to win a 24-inch Dell widescreen monitor and DVD player.

The contest, dubbed the "Yammys", is promotional contest for Yahoo! Video Search and will be judged by the Internet audience as well a panel of celebrity judges.

Yahoo! is looking for the best videos on a range of topics from road trips to office humor to all types of bloopers.

The contest is accepting submissions until August 17, when a panel of celebrity judges will select the semi-finalists. The celebrity panel includes Jenny McCarthy, Kelly Monaco, and Pauly Shore.

The semi-finalists will be submitted for audience approval as online participants will vote on their favorite entry.

The winner of the oddly named contest will take home the grand prize, a Dell UltraSharp 2405FPW 24-inch Wide Aspect Flat Panel LCD Monitor with Height Adjustable Stand and a Panasonic DVD-LS90 9 Inch Portable DVD Player, at a "red carpet" premiere in their of the movie in their home town.

All semi-finalists will receive a Casio Exilim S500 Camera, 20 Fandango Tickets and a small collection of popular DVDs.

The grand prizewinner will be announced on September 19th.
