WebmasterWorld Moderator Ian Turner Missing

When something happens to a member of the SEO community, the Internet is a valuable tool for assisting those who are concerned. Such is the case with Ian Turner.

Although I haven't been fortunate enough to meet him, by all accounts, Ian Turner is a highly respected member of the search community, and unfortunately, he happens to be missing...

Because of Nick Wilson and Threadwatch.org, word of Ian's disappearance has gotten out to many sources, hopefully making his recovery or information related to, an actualality.

Apparently, Ian, who moderates the WebmasterWorld UK & Ireland forum and works for Romsey Associates, was attending the WMW conference in New Orleans and went missing on either the evening of Saturday, June 25th or the morning of Sunday the 26th.

If you have any information AT ALL concerning Ian's whereabouts, please do not hesitate to contact the following:

Ali Turner, Ian's wife on ali.turner (at) hot-smoke (dot) com

and/or

The UK authorities. They are coordinating with the US authorities (please do not contact US direct). Speak to DC Cole at Woking Missing Persons unit +44 (0)1483 655081 or email him cole10437 (at) surrey.pnn.police.uk

For more information about Ian or the events leading up to his disappearance, please visit Nick's Threadwatch section.
